About the Artist
Christine Chin is an artist and photographer whose projects address serious environmental and ethical concerns using humor and parody. Her work has been exhibited in the US and China, including the Pingyao Photography Festival and the New York Hall of Science. Originally from New Jersey, she has a BA from Princeton University, an MA in Fine Arts from Purdue University, and an MFA in Photography from the University of New Mexico. She spent the 2006-2007 academic year working on Alternative Alternative Energy in China with the support of the US Fulbright Fellowship and the Chinese International Photography Research Center in Dalian, China. |
